The rear view mirror within the vehicles wind shield is glued using an adhesive bond and has vigor to tolerate the sun’s heat even of high intensity. The bond between the wind shield and rear view mirror is very strong as it has to tolerate heat, bounce and shocks. If due to any problem the adhesive fails to maintain the bond and you have to replace it, first clean the old adhesive from the glass, dirt stuck on the glass and then apply the new adhesive to ensure proper bond.
